Home Depot has listed a Husky laser distance measuring tool for $34.17. The product is specified with a 60-foot range, a backlit display, USB-C charging and claimed accuracy of ±1/8 inch; the listing does not establish when it became available or how it performs in independent testing.

Home Depot has listed a Husky laser distance measuring tool for $34.17, according to ToolGuyd, which spotted the product on the retailer’s website. The listed specifications include a 60-foot range, a backlit display and a rechargeable battery, placing the tool among lower-cost options for household measuring jobs.

ToolGuyd reported that the device’s accuracy is specified as ±1/8 inch. It has a USB-C charging port and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and its display is backlit. The report described the price as under $35 and said that amount was around average for consumer-grade laser distance measurers. The price reflects the listing at the time of publication, not a guarantee of the current price.

Based on its inspection of the product, ToolGuyd said the tool appears to use a single button for turning it on, taking or locking a measurement, and changing units. The available unit choices are feet, inches and meters. ToolGuyd framed the one-button operation as an observation from the listing rather than a confirmed description from Home Depot or Husky.

The report compared the Husky model with a Hoto laser measurer priced at about $40, which it said has a 98-foot range, stated accuracy of ±1/16 inch and Bluetooth connectivity. It also mentioned Bosch’s GLM100-23 as another basic option. These were the writer’s comparisons; the article did not report a side-by-side test of the products.

A Lower-Cost Measuring Option

At $34.17, the Husky listing gives shoppers another option for measuring distances without a tape measure, including room dimensions and spaces where one person may find a tape awkward to hold. Its 60-foot stated range and backlit display are relevant to common home measuring tasks, while USB-C recharging means the tool does not use replaceable batteries.

The specifications alone do not establish how reliably the tool measures in real-world use. Shoppers comparing models may weigh the Husky’s price and rechargeable battery against features such as longer range, tighter stated accuracy or Bluetooth on other devices. Those differences matter most when the intended task calls for them; the source report does not provide independent performance results for any of the models.

How It Compares With Alternatives

Laser distance measurers use a light beam to estimate the distance between the tool and a target. Consumer models vary in stated range, accuracy, controls, power source and added features. The Husky listing covers several basic specifications, including three measurement units and an illuminated screen, but the report provides no dimensions, weight, warranty details or further information about its user interface.

ToolGuyd’s comparison points to a Hoto model at roughly $40, with a claimed 98-foot range, ±1/16-inch accuracy and Bluetooth. It also cited the Bosch GLM100-23, which the writer favored for its compact size, simple interface and use of two AAA batteries. These preferences and product assessments belong to the report’s author. The article did not state that Home Depot sells either alternative at the quoted prices or provide current price checks for them.

““At the time of this posting, it’s priced at under $35.””

Availability and Testing Details

The report does not say when Home Depot first added the tool, whether it is available in stores as well as online, or whether the $34.17 price remains current. It also does not provide a product model number, warranty terms, included accessories or battery capacity. Home Depot’s product listing and Husky materials would be needed to confirm details beyond those reported.

The stated ±1/8-inch accuracy and 60-foot range are specifications, not results from an independent test described in the source. ToolGuyd also qualified its account of the single-button controls. How the interface works in practice, and how the tool performs across different surfaces and conditions, remain unreported.

Check the Current Product Listing

Shoppers interested in the tool can check Home Depot’s listing for its current price, stock status and full specifications. Further product information or hands-on reviews could clarify the controls, battery life and measurement performance. The source report did not announce a release schedule, additional Husky models or a planned update from Home Depot.
