Milwaukee’s 3494-23R M12 three-tool combo kit has returned as a holiday-season special buy for $199, according to ToolGuyd. A two-tool drill-and-driver kit is also back at $149, making the ratchet the main difference between the offers.
Milwaukee’s M12 3494-23R three-tool combo kit is back at a reported $199 for the 2026 holiday shopping season, according to ToolGuyd. The offer pairs a compact drill and impact driver with a cordless ratchet; a two-tool version without the ratchet is also available for $149.
ToolGuyd says the three-tool bundle includes Milwaukee’s M12 compact brushless drill, a compact brushless impact driver and an older brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet. The kit also comes with two compact 2Ah batteries, a charger and a tool bag. The report describes the offer as a returning holiday promotion; it does not identify a specific retailer in the supplied material.
The separately priced two-tool combo costs $149 and includes the drill and impact driver, according to the report. That puts the listed difference between the bundles at $50. Buyers considering the larger kit are effectively weighing whether the ratchet and other included kit contents justify that additional amount to them.
ToolGuyd says the included ratchet is not as powerful or feature-rich as newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets, while describing the brushed model as a lower-cost option. The report also says the drill and driver are less powerful than M12 Fuel versions, but its author prefers their ergonomics. Those performance and comfort comparisons reflect the publication’s assessment, not a measured test result supplied with the offer.
The Ratchet Sets the Bundle Apart
The practical decision is whether a cordless ratchet is useful for the buyer’s work. For someone who expects to use one, the $50 gap between the offers makes the three-tool bundle worth comparing with buying tools separately. ToolGuyd characterizes the ratchet’s inclusion at that price difference as a strong value, but the source does not provide standalone prices or a retailer listing to verify savings against individual purchases.
For buyers who only need a drill and impact driver, the $149 two-tool kit avoids paying for an accessory they may not use. The difference between the brushed ratchet and newer Fuel models also matters: the bundle offers a more affordable entry to cordless ratcheting, but shoppers should not assume it matches the power or features of the newer brushless tools.
The kits may appeal to people building an M12 setup because both bundles include two 2Ah batteries and a charger, as well as the tools and bag described by ToolGuyd. Whether that package suits a particular job depends on the required power, run time and tool compatibility; the source does not give detailed specifications beyond the battery capacity and tool types.

A Returning Holiday Combo Offer
The development is a return of a seasonal promotion, rather than an announcement of a new Milwaukee tool. ToolGuyd identifies the three-tool set as model 3494-23R and says the offer is back for the 2026 holiday shopping season. The supplied report also says the $149 two-tool promotion has returned.
ToolGuyd notes that similar promotional combo kits commonly appear throughout the holiday season and says shoppers do not generally need to rush because such deals do not usually sell out quickly. That is the publication’s general assessment of these promotions, not a guarantee about this particular offer’s inventory or duration. The source material does not give a promotion end date, retailer name or stock status.

Retailer, Stock and End Date
The supplied report does not name the retailer, provide a direct product listing or state when the promotion ends. It also does not confirm current inventory, regional availability, shipping costs or whether the listed prices require membership or other conditions. Shoppers should check the retailer’s listing for the offer terms and included items before purchasing.
The description identifies the ratchet as a brushed-motor 3/8-inch model but does not provide its full model number or detailed performance specifications. ToolGuyd’s comparisons with newer M12 Fuel tools are the publication’s assessment; the source does not include independent test data or quantified performance figures.
Check the Listing Before Buying
Anyone interested in either bundle can compare the retailer’s current listing with the reported prices of $199 for three tools and $149 for two, then confirm the package contents, availability and sale terms. The key decision is whether the included ratchet is useful enough to justify the $50 difference.
ToolGuyd expects other promotional combo kits to appear during the holiday season, but the source does not identify a schedule or confirm how long this particular offer will remain available. The next meaningful update would be a retailer listing that establishes the sale’s terms, stock and end date.
